Mission Statement: To identify and compassionately deliver quality care that fulfills the needs of those seeking physical health and restorations through their God-given abilities. |
What you may expect during your physical therapy visit? A physical therapy pelvic floor evaluation is very different from the evaluation you receive from your doctor. Physical therapists are experts in assessing muscular tone, strength, flexibility, and endurance, as well as the general health of the musculo-skeletal system. Our evaluation of your pelvic floor is very detailed and comprehensive and the exam often includes an assessment of your back, hips, and any other region of your body that may be involved. We begin with a "subjective" evaluation in our office, meaning we ask you many questions regarding your condition. This information guides us in what we include in our "objective" or hands-on evaluation. The initial assessment or evaluation may take multiple sessions, however the therapist will be continually re-assessing and re-evaluating throughout your duration of care. We share our results with your doctor in order to work as a team to meet all of your health and wellness goals. We look forward to working with you. Why Choose Cornerstone Physical Therapy: · Skilled Physical Therapy services in a safe, comfortable and private environment · Excellent communication with your doctors, mid-wives or nurse practitioners · Sound and knowledgeable advice and education about your condition · A comprehensive assessment and individualized rehabilitation program We utilize this treatment approach to inform and empower the individual to understand and manage their own physical needs.
